My Daily Uniform

Since I work from home, my daily go-to uniform is a great pair of jeans and a cozy sweater or interesting top. The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale really delivered on both. I'm loving these cozy sweaters for fall! This wrap style sweater is essentially my ideal top -- the criss-cross front really flatters my larger chest, and this merino-alpaca blend is so so soft and comfy! I'm wearing it here with a well-fitted pair of Madewell jeans. For the top, I sized down to a medium, and I'm wearing my normal size 30 in the denim.

Another wrap top? Hells yes. I have long been obsessed with Madewell's Thread and Texture Wrap Top {I think I have it in four colors now!} and this is a beautiful fall version with longer, puffy sleeves. This material feels thick and rich -- like you wouldn't even need a sweater during those early fall days! At about $30 during the anniversary sale, this top is a steal! I'm wearing my normal size large here.

This striped top is perfection for transitioning from summer into fall. Since it's on the longer side, I tied it at the front for a cute, casual look, but I also think it would be great worn long with a pair of leggings and boots. I chose a large, which seems to give it an oversized look, so if you're into a closer fit, size down.

I fell in LURVE with last fall's version of this striped pocket sweater {and I know people who missed out on last year's are still crying about it}! This olive, cream, and coral combo is so deliciously autumn, and I think it looks adorable with the collar of a button down peeking out! The way the direction of the stripes contrast make this pattern-mixing extra fun. I'm wearing a large and I love the slightly roomy, boxy, cropped fit -- it's still long enough to front-tuck into these high rise Madewell jeans.

Color me obsessed with rainbows! This striped j crew sweater is basically made for me! Thin enough to be worn alone, or layered under an EPIC yellow blazer, this top is gonna be on repeat this fall and winter, I can just feel it. Speaking of this blazer. Wowwwww. I pulled the size 10 based on my usual dress size and this thing slid on like butter. At $130 after the sale, this jacket is a little on the splurge-y side, but you can't put a price on a well-fitting classic piece you'll reach for over and over again.

What I love about this ribbed fall-tone sweater is that it feels rainbow even though it's not. I'm usually anywhere between a medium and an XL when it comes to sweater, but I sized all the way up to a 1X to make this clingy sweater feel a bit more roomy. I'm wearing it with a truly luxurious pair of Paige jeans. The denim on these pants is thick and squishy and soft and firm. I could sleep in these jeans but they also make me feel like my tummy is being lovingly held in place -- total confidence booster!
